Anyone would think we're in a recession

Just got the car serviced at a North London Audi dealer, and it involved the usual bit of hanging about while things were sorted out. But something quite odd happened while I was pacing around the showroom.

Practically every member of staff either smiled, said hello, or asked if I was being attended to.

They might have just lightened my bank account by nearly £400 for not much more than an oil change, but I actually came out feeling happy. Strange days indeed.

Its funny how the whole UK are reverting back to good old 'customer service' to attract business. Even the McDrive-Thru guy smiled and we only spent £1.98 on 2 McFluffy's!
