I think we are jumping to worst case here. Clay bar can cause trouble if not used correctly. You could just try washing normally.
Caddyman, if i were you i would go around to your next door neighbour and ask to see the spray instructions, then go on detailing world and ask people on there because most of these guy's are very helpful.

P.s i'm not a detailer or valeter. Just someone trying to help
Chunky, the post was December 26 and was stated as the other day which would probably put it before Christmas. Anything water based has a cure time, even water based interior paints so I imagine that this would apply to Caddyman's situation.

When my RS got covered with paint spots from some burk whitewashing a pebbledashed wall on a windy day within 5 yards of my car without asking me to move it (he then proceeded to take a dirty wet cloth to my car thinking I ever saw him do it and then scarpered quickly when I came out of our office to confromt him!) I first tried QD and a microfibre a couple of days later which moved some, then washed it but some remained. Sonus Green Clay bar with plenty lube removed the rest, hence why I suggested it from first hand experience.

if it's meant for exterior use I doubt it's water based...rain would wash it off...the carrier may be water, but the product is probably oil based...soaks into the wood after the water evaporates...

the longer it sits, the harder to rectify...
try cleaning one spot:
just car wash soap
then a cleaner like Klasse AIO
then a cleaner like simple green/degreaser
then a solvent: 3M adhesive remover, tar remover, etc., one small area at a time, then thoroughly rinse...
least agressive to most agressive...

but regardless, the guy who caused the problem should bear some responsibility...

You obviously have some past knowledge of using clay. I was saying i would go with a wash first to see how that gets on then possibly use clay. Have read some nasty stories about people using clay without knowing what to do and they then have to get a detailer in.
As said i would get over onto detailing world and ask the question if it already hasn't been sorted.

True; the beauty with Sonus Green is that it is pretty much idiot proof since it is a light cut and so long someone is using plenty of quick detailing spray whilst using it it works well. Otherwise Halfrords do a Meguiars clay kit which is just as good and has step by step instructions so availabel to the masses easily.

I use the Bilt Mamber clay and that is also pretty much idiot proof but did lots of reading about it before trying it. Would be nice to know how caddyman has got on.
