Think i've finally found out & it's a tad strange.

For my system (fully tried & tested) it's 364 Contacts (god only knows why it's such a random number), but at 364 every contact & number is displayed. I'll count what 364 contacts (for me) equates to in actual phone numbers when i've some time spare to manually scroll through the number on the RNS-E.

Happy now.

Seems odd when mine is an '06 car and takes so so many more. I don't suppose you have a corrupt v-card or similar? Try deleting the contact at or before it 'stops' maybe and try again?

Just occured to me as I did a 100% sort out of all my contacts when i transferred contacts to my latest 'phone so i'm reasonably confident there are no duff ones.

So just to complicate things a little more for you....

Ok, well I put an "S" revision module into an A3 today 8P0 862 335 S and paired up my N96 with software 11.018 loaded (generic Euro1). I also had the Nokia 810 contacts download manager installed on the phone.

I got my phonebook, dialled, missed, received calls all transferred. Strange thing that the Contacts download manager did not seem to get activated and the download took very little time.

I will test it against some N revision modules that I have and my old N95 8GB as well.

You sure? you said on your previous post that you had 310 contacts.

In contacts i'm meaning as an Outlook number so not individual telephone numbers. In the phone & Outlook, all detail sits under the one contact (mobile, home, work, email etc.) so it's that number which is just over 360 & all are visible.

On the RNS-E these are broken out into individual contacts so a single phone contact with 3 numbers (work, mobile & home) is now displayed in the car as 3 contacts. For the 360ish actual contacts i'm guessing this equates to 440ish actual phone numbers & all these are displayed.

Sorry to perhaps confuse contacts being the person or company with contact numbers. So i have 360ish contacts & that makes up about 440 visible & displayed contact numbers.
