Not really a tunnel, but still great... the concrete lined cutting under the M27 on a side road near Southampton airport - sounds great going through there with the sunroof and windows open and hitting the rev limiter!

Couple of good ones on the autoroute into Geneva and between Lyon and Chambery.

I have to say even the RS4 at 8K rpm doesn't sound like a 12R with an Akrapovic coming down from 12K rpm on the overrun....

In the dark you also get the monster firework display to accompany...

I had a great experience going through the Liverpool tunnel last week.

Well i do love the hold the rs6 in a nice low gear and plant it , the noise is just fantastic ...

On this occasion i had been playing with a Astra VXR from the end of the M62 through to the tunnel .As we entered the slip road to the tunnel my hart sank as i saw a Traffic police Volvo T5 that was approaching the entrance as well .

How happy was i when i related it was a friend of mine who's a car nut as well.

As we both entered the tunnel side by side he realised it was me , with a large grin on his face he gestured that i should floor it ( Hard to believe but he did ) So we both slowed to allow the traffic to in front to leave a good gap.
At this point the 2 lads in the vxr were right behind me.

So i had to oblige my mate and floored it in 2 nd... The nice was fantastic, so i did it again. :D This time as he came along side he gestured that i would get a ticket !!!!!! :?

As we got to the pay booth's the lads in the vxr came along side and could not believe how well the car went , sounded and that I'd done it by a cop :kissmyrings:

Don't forget the Queensway tunnels in Birmingham on the A38 and the short one as you come out of Dover on A20 (M20?) is quite good too!

I love going through Hatfield Tunnel which is quite often as I live near there! The noise the '6 makes is awesome! Trouble is, everytime I do it with the missus in the car and roll down all the windows, she complains like merry hell about the 'noise' and how freezing cold she is.. Jeez, women..

Two tunnels close to where I live. However My 4.2 liter V8 makes the RS4 sound like a belching camel.
