Before you go the paint route check to see if the scratches are deep or not, I have seen a post up on detailing world (do a search for paint chip removal) where a guy infilled the scratch with a touch up brush making sure to get the paint only in the scratch and then very carefully wet sanded with some p2000 then machine polished. The result is fantastic. My point being that if you get a very good detailer they may be able to do this for you without repainting.Aerovant wrote:Thank you. Car has been fixed. Coming back tonight so will see how they have fixed it. There is still glass loose in the tailgate so everytime I close it, I can hear glass moving around. May have to take the lining of it to remove it all. Hoping that the passenger door doesn't have the same problem.
Can anyone recommend where I can get scratches repaired? - When the rear window was broken, it scratched the paintwork below and the bumper. Pain in the butt. Now also need to have the rear window tinted again. It's the hassle of it all that annoys me most of all.
Thanks for all your comments guys - really appreciate it..
