Interesting purchase with the current fuel price climate... Evo magazine reckon £1.50 by September... what is the Merc? 6.2 litres?

DOnt know if you have specced your C63 yet mate, but make sure you tick the box for the AMG drivers pack, otherwise they arent that good IMO.

Mercedes Benz won't offer me more then 39k and frankly I dont think I/anyone else in my position could/would accept that. Im waiting for some offers from private friends i know who may be interested + will advertise around a little bit as well.
Yes mate basically it sounds like a monster just interested to know why you were tempted away from what I thought was the best all round car in the range and in Avant style. I like mercs had a CLK 55 in the past but heard the newer ones are not as solid and as desirable, residuals etc as years gone by. Jim's right about PX as well. your get a lot better than that surely for yours.

The change was mainly due to a variety of reasons, wife issue included. Seems like a lot of change going on in my life at the moment; also moving house very soon. New car would be nice to compliment the new house. Plus I liked the merc a lot... the build quality, in my opinion didn't seem all that bad, great seats, interior (expected better) is not bad depending on what trim but for an AMG it could have been a lot more exciting inside... And then theres that monster of an engine- which really is insane with that amount of torque on tap, lastly not to mention that exhaust note- intoxicating. Guess i'll see how much im getting for the RS4, even thinking of keeping it and having the AMG as well.

I'll post some pics when i take delivery next week.

My wife loves the buckets in my RS4.

Even if she didn't, I wouldn't get rid of it.

She could go out and buy her own S5 with Recaros and we'd go everywhere in convoy...obviously she'd be behind.
