Just thought i would jump on the band wagon to make you feel better.
My mrs curbed an alloy last sat (cant get it refurbed in time for our wedding so having a new one (including tire) fitted today.
And i reversed it into our voyager on wed so it went in for repair on thurday and is due out later today. Thank god i work at a bodyshop.

Pig - sorry off topic but I saw a fantastic number plate today P1G RS shame it was on a Disco!

Don't know whether this wheel scuffing is catching, but I'll add myself to the list.

After a completely unblemished car for a very long time, I've managed to scuff the off-side front wheel while avoiding a small animal.

:(

The wheel repairers are going to have a good 2008!

Prior to owning the Audi, I had an unblemished record for kerbing alloys. I think the lack of protection offered by the standard conti's on mine is a big contributor - aswell as the fact its the longest car ive owned. I'll be refurbing my alloys at tyre renewal time!!!

Are the mobile outfit repairers any good or is it best to send them away for refurb professionally ?

I scuffed one too, withing a week of ownership, I kerbed it driving up a multistory..like who the <beep> designs those things!
