are any of the above a genuine 'run flats' without a spare I have been looking for some time, without success. Opted for P zero Rosso's. Surprised the 275 fits.

Based on what most people say about run flats completely messing up the ride and handling of a car you don't want them.DIE-M3 wrote:are any of the above a genuine 'run flats'
I've got a space saver spare in the boot of my RS4 - using parts from Audi. I've posted the details many times before ...

38 all round, but I do a lot of motorway miles. About 450 a week. Have played with front higher than rear, but that can loosen up the rear and I don;t like the car with a loose back end.

I have only done about 300 miles now but notice no differance whatsoever in fuel economy. Having said that, the Wife had the car on Sunday and she said "Don't know what you have done but your car has loads more grip". She drives a 2.5Tdi normally and does not drive that hard...

Does she mean sharper turn-in? I find it difficult to get into grip-exhausting situations in my car and I drive it pretty hard. That is on the standard size P-zeros. I think turn-in could definitely be better though and I suspect the goodyears have a much stiffer sidewall allowing for this.Tartan_Rob wrote:I have only done about 300 miles now but notice no differance whatsoever in fuel economy. Alex - I notice a better turn-in over the Michelins. The Mrs just said there is loads of grip, when I asked to explain , she said she was distracted going into a tight right hand corner and went in too fast, 60mph instead of 30/40mph and she just yanked the steering sheel, the car gripped and went round. It did not seem to slip at all.
Her explanation, not mine...!
