Put me down for 1 please.

Vat is payable on acquisitions from other EU Member States at 17.5%.

This is payable on the INVOICE PRICE.

I had a look last night on my invoice when I used them a couple of months ago and it came to about 520 Euros (about £372) including one wheel (standard colour), pressure sensor, delivery and VAT at 19% - not 17.5%.

So still a good price I think.

Monty emailed me last night and he says that the price is including tax and duty and I quote "The end price to you". I thought you suffer the vat at their rate so there should be no additional vat implications. Im just going to check it out with HMRC and will let all know.

Yes, you pay the VAT at their rate. There should be no other import implications

Monty is completely up front and provides a great service. It was me who first posted his site as a link having used him to buy a set of 4 Titanium OEM wheels. His prices are as delivered (tax included) - the only additional cost is whatever your bank charges for an International Bank transfer.

My wheelset included sensors and valves. Much much cheaper than Audi.

He knows of our site and by now will have done quite a lot of business with memebers.

I also have a set of Dunlop D3 M&S tyres (winter tyres) in std RS4 size from him as they weren't available last year here. I think they now are (see the winter tyre thread from last week).

In summary top service and nothing to fear.

Each have slight marks etc but nothing major. Prefectly good to act as a spare if you needed to take off one of your main set for a new tyre etc.

pm me if interested - sorry for the hijack!

Okay crunch time. My dealer has offered 1 wheel at £330 incl vat, valve and sensor. They have said that they may be able to squeeze a bit more from parts if the numbers are there so I need to know who are definates in order to finalise the price. Thanks.
