OK. I've just had the telephone conversation with the manufacturer and they have given me the all clear to go ahead to give you the information on this forum of who they are, and they are:

AUTOSTYLE

http://www.autostyle.co.uk
Tel: 01488 689 429

They have checked with their management and cannot see a problem with producing these mats with the RS4 logo as I have on my mats and not the ones which Jason (55JWB) is showing.

When I ordered mine, I checked with them several times about how I thought that they were stopped by Audi from producing these but they were quite sure that there was no problem so I went ahead and ordered them so I'm not sure what had gone on before but it seems like it has resolved itself.

If you intend to order these then I suggest you get your order in today as the person I spoke to who knows about this is going on holiday as from end of business today.

For the price (I paid £65) then I don't think there would be too much room for organising a group buy but that I will leave to you.

Hope that has been of help.

Graham

Jason, sorry for the late reply - I've only just seen this  Yep, I should be about, I'll PM you my phone number, just give me a call a bit nearer the time to check I'm in.

Ant, glad you like the mats.

Received my mats last night and fitted them. For peopl ordering in the future I would see if they do a grey mat the same colour as the factory jobbies. Mine are black with silver edging and look good. I have the proper Rs4 mats as well (want to keep those for special occassions :D ) and side by side you would never ever want to pay 400/500 quid for the oem ones. Ive put hole in my mats and fitted the ring attachers from my none rs4 oem mats to the autostyle jobbies so i dont have to remove the floor fittings. Happy man.

I ordered mine in Anthracite (sp?) which is not too far off the colour of the main carpet - which I think Audi call Charcoal.

Graham's have the silver surround - i would perfer a surround colour as close to the mat colour as possible (like the standard mats)

Fair comment and I can understand why you would prefer that but there were two reasons why I went for the silver edging (it's actually more grey looking than silver). First reason was I wanted to match the silver leather - which I know you don't want to do - but more importantly, because I knew that there would be a slight difference between the two 'blacks', I thought that I would try to diffuse that buy having a different colour edging to the mat so that the colour difference was not quite so obvious when the two 'blacks' were sitting next to each other and I think that in this case it works.

That was my theory anyway.

got you. It works in your car due to the seat colour - i have the bucket seats so are dark grey like the carpet:)

Well I think i have cracked the colour combo! Firstly credit where credit is due to Les from autostyle who has been extremely helpful in sending me examples of all the available mat/boarder colours to help choose and the winning combo is...............Anthracite mat with navy boarder!

I'm know at first this seems a crazy combination however if you are looking to match the standard mat colours as close as possible i think that is it. Final verdict will be made once my set turn up so i will post some pics but in the meantime if anyone else is thinking of ordering a set don't rule out navy - it's not as odd as it sounds!! :)
