I'll try to take one tomorrow & post up.Jezzer wrote:Thanks for that but would prefer a full on rear pic if poss.
Just been to the garage as I thought looking at your pics that they were not any bigger, I was wrong. The standard OEMs are 5 1/2 horizontal x 3 1/4 vertical. So 3/4 of an inch wider both ways. Can you explain what a Cat Back is?W8PMC wrote:Just measured & at the widest points the exit is exactly 6 1/4 inches horizontal & 4 inches vertical.
How does that compare with the stock system??
No idea & i doubt it's even worth the effort in trying as any difference even a dyno would struggle to pick up. I was told that the only difference between non res/non valve & res/valved was the noise & Sport button functionality. I do longer journeys so did not want the extra booming that non res gives over res. Also of course wanted to retain some Sport button functionality so went for valved as well, although opting for valved pushes the price up by about £400.VARSITY wrote:Is there a difference in output, bhp, when the valves are open or closed? Proven of course.
I have non-res and non-valved, also have decats on the way.
Should hear it coming!!
