Santa Pod is coming up soon and I would love to get around the 13 sec mark.

Any tips please?
Just make sure the engine is RUNNING and in gear :jump:

12.966 107.37MPH
60ft 1.875

Done on Street tyres and stock car, so guys 12's are possible.
You dont have to be that cruel either to the car. No side stepping. Sorry but Ive never done that to a car and not about to start.

Very good, well seems you need a 2.7T with quite a bit of power to do those sorts of times, so the RS4 must be very quick through the gears up and running - or us 2.7T guys cant drive :P

Agree, side-stepping will not see your clutch/transmission thanking you for very long.

I'd be very surprised if a stock RS4 gets much below the 12.8s sykotoy posted. That must be about the limit of what the car can do standard. For such a heavy car, that is a very impressive time.

Seems the 12.8 was run over in Auz... if they are anything like the US strips they seem to run 2-4 tenths quicker than us here, SantaPod is even slower...

Is there a strip that is considered to be "quick" in the UK?

I ran 13.2 on a US spec M3 with a low launch control rpm. RS4 times are uber lame. Unless you murder the clutch, be prepared to be embarassed by many cars out there.
