If there is a reasonably high limit of "claims", then £57 per month is actually quite cheap if it includes tyres, servicing, parts and labour.
tracking is not allowed on Audi FCM per T&Cs , I guess they must have reasonability guidelines in terms of wear and tear but I would love to know what they are and how they prove it wasn't hard road driving

Thanks for the input. It must be reasonable for tracking not to be allowed under this type of agreement but as I don't expect to track mine more than once a year (if at all) I might be inclined to take my chances.

But if tyres are lasting 12,000 miles on the road the package is great value. At most it would cost me under £950 per year which is obviously considerably less than I can pisk up four tyres for and that's before any other servicing or maitenance costs.

I'll make an effort to get a copy of the Ts&Cs today but it would be much more useful to hear from someone with experience of claiming on one of these packages to see how well they really work.

I'm going for this package - Its a no brainer. I think I was quoted something like £57 month for 12K miles direct from the dealer when placing the order for my Avant.

I can't put tyres on the car for £683 per year never mind an annual service! I asked how many sets of tyres I could have - they weren't sure so they phoned someone while I was in the office. They said there was no limit but within reason i.e. not tracking the car.

I agree it's a no brainer at £57 a month but I have been quoted £78 by one dealer and £80 by another for 12k miles. Would you mind disclosing which dealer you got your quote from as I might give them a try. They obviously can and do quote different rates from one to another.

If I can't do any better from another dealer I'll probably go with a slightly cheaper quote that I got from my broker for the same kind of package at £74 per month - still pretty good value I reckon.

Cheers

me, 6k pa = £18 per month

others 12k pa = £57-80 per month

why is the pricing not fixed by Audi across all dealers? Thought it wa system generated quote so I thouhgt this was Audi UK rather than each franchise making their own estimates.

makes no sense to me why my quote was so low given a service is a fixed cost regardless of mileage, maybe they thought I would be on variable service schedule and so would only need one service in 3 years. No way will I go on variable given my mileage/driving patterns.

Sounds good to me. My mileage is similar, and I was planning to go for fixed service intervals. At £18pcm this seems a real bargain

Is this for tyres as well, or just servicing?

guys, I have been looking into this and the dealer must only be quoting servicing, not servicing, maintenance and tyres...?? I checked and sure enough service only, was around the £50 anything other than that and it rockets toward £90 :?

You may be right but I know the two quotes I have are for the full package and yet they are different - albeit only by a couple of quid a month. Will now probably take deal from broker at £74per month based on 12,000 miles pa.
