All sorted, plugged the Bose one back in again tonight, I might make a career out of this!!

Craig out of interest, are the mics the same? I was going to swap the connections so that the mic on the right, which is currently the BOSE one, is closest to the driver to pick up speech better. I can't swap the mics over as the cable is not long enough on the factory fitted mic for the BOSE lead.

I thought I would bump this, as this is a common task people will want to do. Also it allows the option of not having the cradle and the non fitment of the RS4 steering wheel

Either a dealer or someone who believes what his dealer says :jump:

Given his signature he works for an ex-Audi dealer who are now an "Audi Specialist"
Andrew Dryburgh,
Car Sales Executive
Harper & Hebson Audi
So far I've had to correct him on this issue, the fact that 4Gb cards will work in the RNS-E and that the RS6+ came in Sprint Blue - typical dealer attitude - think that are right but are generally wrong.

My Audi dealer said that it could not be done.
I've rec'd kit from Craig, and as i will not fiddle with the trim etc, I have booked the car in with the local approved ICE dealer, who fits all the Audi centre aftermarket kit.
Just need to speak again to the dealer to activate correctly with the VAg-COM.

Hopefully all will be working after Monday
