Are the body colour wing mirror housings an option now or is this only in Germany?

At least it´s an option here.

Normally I like the bling mirrors, especially on black cars, , but because I wanted a clean red/black look, I decided to go for red mirrors

I'm the opposite. I'd avoid the black optics pack and go for the bling mirrors whatever the colour!

We all like different things, what matters is what YOU want YOUR car to look like. That's why Audi offer the option.

WOW!! Great looking car. Here in the states, we don't have the avant option. I currently drive an 03 RS6, but would love an avant. The optics package is killer (in my opinion). If you could either post or send me more pics, I'd love to have it as a backdrop. The US always misses out on the really "cool" equipment. Only if I could move across the pond!!

The red goes really well with the optics pack but I think it looks crap with black or daytona grey. I like the standard bling mirrors.
I was offered the suede wheel but I think it was about £700!
