43 and picked up my Avus B7 earlier tonight, this colour was made for RS's. I am absolutely delighted with the car, so glad I didn't give in to temptation and go for M3.

Performance car but still manages to be more refined, has better quality feel and that Audi understated theme.

Yes must admit the interior of the M3 is pretty dated.

51 and proud of it. I've been a piston head my whole life. From late 60's - early 70's American Muscle Cars to European Sports Sedans. The RS4 will certainly be the ultimate on the list to date.

I looked at a lot of cars including M3, M5, E55 AMG. Z06 Vette never made the radar.

And I'm not old!!!

Hey! I resemble that remark!

Actually I prefer the term "experienced" not old, and especially not ancient. Old guys don't buy 420 HP cars. I still have all my hair, and play full contact jungle golf in the snow! (You'd have to see it to believe it!)

I think it's just the most popular colour- looks wicked on the RS4..! I didn't see any old men on the list.... did you? :D
Just makes me feel old when I see some ticking the 20 - 25 box. I saw a Daytona Grey RS4 the other day and it did look superb. Originally specced Misano Red but thought I wasn't young enough for that.

Was it the only choice or did you short list a couple of cars?
Davey are you the resident "quizz master"?

Gazzab
It would seem so - just something to do until the cars arrive, the driving reveiws appear and mods start being added.

Two guys (or girls not wishing to assume) are under 25 and ordered. Insurance must surely be a nightmare AND am I just getting old, but at your age how do you afford a £50K car I was still a boy racer in my XR2i. (I know, I know but back then they were cool, I think)

Anybody been watching 'Life on Mars' on Monday nights. Us lot around 45-50 can relate to the bronze Cortina MK111 GXL and 2000E being driven on the show as this sort of car would have been our RS4s back then. Bit different to driving about in brand new RS4s now. However you couldn't drive in reverse down a narrow alley at full pelt with a burger in your mouth listening to 'Ballroom Blitz' by The Sweet playing on your eight track. You youngsters don't know what you missed.
