not quite the reasons I want turbos and RS6 will not do it for me either. Iwant to have the following feeling in the morning and the evening:
when I think of "hey, I'm about to drive my RS4", I wanna have a [img]images/graemlins/biggrin3.gif[/img] on my face,
then, when I enter the underground garage, I wanna have a [img]images/graemlins/biggrin3.gif[/img] on my face (because it looks drop-dead gorgeous - which the RS6 DOESN'T, neither does the S4),
and then, when I drive along, I wann have a [img]images/graemlins/biggrin3.gif[/img] on my face (because the engine feels just great, sounds great, and kicks the @#°°@#°¦@ out of you.
Now, let's look at what is around:
RS4: looks great, kicks a.. turbo-style
S4: kicks a.. kind-off, looks dull
RS6: looks dull, kicks a.. turbo-style
new RS4: does not kick a.. turbo-style (see post above), but maybe it is a killer-engine nevertheless - wê'll see. So, as I wrote, it needs to look georgeous at least.

What's so special about a 4.2l engine that does 420bhp?
All the other companies have been doing it for years. Hell, even bloody Honda can do it.
I just hope it isn't just horsepower, but tuned for plenty of torque as well. That's what gives tou the kicks [img]images/graemlins/nodder.gif[/img]

Couldn't agree more.
If it look great, is as light as a feather with excellent brakes and chassis then that would make up a little for the absence of turbos.
Guess we'll just have to wait and see [img]images/graemlins/sekret.gif[/img]
