Next RS4 - what do we want

I get the feeling that no matter what the new RS4 is like, it'll always live in the shadow of the current model. Now it's just an update, but when the RS4 came out it was something new. I know the RS2 was first, and that amazed people, but then the RS4 came along and everyone just dropped their guts. When it was released, where else could you buy a practical car that does 0-60 in 4.9 seconds (which I still think is an understatement), and cruises along at whatever speed you like, while retaining mid twenties fuel consumption? There was the E55, but it's heavier and soggy, and just crap. 540 touring? Perhaps that rare thing, the M5 touring? That was still only ever going to be competitive with an RS2, and even then it lost.

The RS4 name is a big set of boots to be filling, and if the new model doesn't, it'll be a BIG job for Audi to get all you guys back as their customer base.
