Evening!

Car arrived today with zero juice in so I drove it 3 miles to the petrol station and gave it some of their finest.

Fair bit of black smoke coming out on acceleration but I’m assuming that’s carbon build up….anyone have any idea?!

Drives absolutely sweet, doesn’t even rattle!

Very much enjoy this, obviously can’t bring myself to drive it so am after another with low mileage, 10-25k maybe if anyone knows of one!
Yeah that will be carbon build up. These cars do smoke a bit, especially if they haven't been driven for a while.

Ah I have seen that, just missing the seats and not sure on the colour and it’s been there since 2022 it seems so wondering if it’s either too dear or if something is wrong with it.

Can you retro fit wingbacks?

Yes you can retrofit them. It has been sat a while but, with respect, most people don't have a spare £40k to spend on a B7. Seller might be open to a negotiation on price with it being sat so long. Very, very rare to see one with 17k miles, let alone the one you purchased! In fact, I've been watching the market daily for probably 4-5 years now and 17k mileage is the lowest I've seen aside from the one you bought.

Ah yeah I get that, usually you’d expect a price drop.

I was bidding on one on cars and classic auction in April and it was just me and one other guy all the way up to 39 I think so it seems overpriced to me….ironic that when I just bought the 217 mile one at “mad” money haha.

I just think it should be 32-34 maybe with the lack of wingbacks as well.

That said if it was black or blue I’d be more inclined.

I think I’ll keep looking, appreciate your time replying thank you
