Rule 1 was adhered to, years back! I’m offshore just now with shockingly bad WiFi and can’t get signed into photobucket to upload any just now. I bought it from a forum member so there are pictures floating about on here.

Mileage is now 73k, another 3 motors between me and the wife means it sometimes doesn’t move much.
It’s not to be used for nipping to the shops or just into town, transporting the dog or muddy kids after football so that’s 90% of my wakened life ruled out. 😂

But when I do get to drive it it’s usually as it should be driven. That’s when I know I’d miss it.

I think I may recall seeing it a few years ago then. Good that you’ve still got it and drive it as intended when you do manage to get a chance. I’m sure you’d miss it if you sold it, so keep hold of it.

Stunning! I’ve now realised they are so rare so opened up more colour options to blue and red. Hopefully this should make the search a little easier.

Red Avant's are quite rare as well. Only ever seen 1 other in the metal in 9 years and that was at a RS246 meeting at Crail.

Sprint blue looks good, there was one near me recently until the guy traded it in for a 911.

Mugello blue is my favourite though.

Yeah mugello is growing on me actually. Yet to see one in the flesh but very cool looking.

It is really classy colour in the metal, not shouty at all which I quite like.

To be honest, I am really starting to like Avus silver which I was never a fan of in the past. Ever so slightly darker than the other silver they did but it looks really nice when clean.

I must be getting old..............

I have an Avus Avant. It really grows on you, I didn't want the colour at first but now it's one of my favourites. Looks like molten metal in the sun and is a lovey dark silver that, with the fat guards and B7 curves, looks very Porsche-esque.

I might now add Avus to the colour want list after seeing that photo!

There's a green one listed for sale on here just now. It's listed under parts section and not cars .
