So what is the proper name for "wingbacks"?

Seats. You know the ones that came with the RS4, not the ones that came in the S4 and were put in the RS4 if you were too tight to buy the proper seats.

I think that's how it was described in the brochure!

They are called RS Bucket seats in the brochure.

Thought buckets were standard and comfort were a no cost option or vis versa.

Think you'll find buckets make the car faster so you'd catch him up, that's what Dave down the pub said anyway

I'm pretty sure the wingback vs bucket question is already in the rules somewhere.

For the record wingbacks do not exist and it sounds silly. They are buckets.

The comfort seat driver would get off the start line first but would end up in the passenger seat at the first hairpin bend and the bucket seat car would blast past laughing their heads off.

The word wingback should be banned from the forum full stop!

I have run both, the buckets are good but then so are the comfort seats to be honest. If only PetrolDave was still on here.......

At least we had a choice this side of the Atlantic, the poor Yanks did not.

Just feel sorry for the owners of RS4 cabs that never had the bucket seat option ticked, they had standard A4 seats in them!

They probably fell out of the car before the end of the pit straight....

I have the comforts,I find they are fine as long as you keep your back planted firmly into the seat when impersonating a driving God :) The previous owner, a member on here, had them swapped in and I am glad he did. My ageing arse really appreciates all the comfort it can get.
