I'd say 410 is a bit low. I pulled 435 with gutted precats, res delete, caf, cc, stage 2 manifold and a stage 2 map and was very happy with results although was hoping for more. When I ditched the res I replaced it with straight pipes which aren't at all restrictive but still have main cats and back boxes.
To be honest I'm not sure how much you'd notice with 25ps. I found most of the gain came from the map when u had it done. And really it doesn't take long for these engines to be back in the high 300's with carbon build up anyway.

I got 428 with stage 2, de-flap. Standard exhaust and standard intake.

I have to say i am pretty fed up now
Picked up the car, the first carrigeway i got to i thought i would open her up just to see how she runs, at the very least a bit better as she is now remapped and carbon cleaned AGREED ????

actually slower and doesnt pull like she did,
when i floored her you could feel the thrust, get pushed back in the seat and sort of give you whip lash, i am sure you all know the feeling i am trying to explain ? but this has gone ? ok of course it pulls but nowhere near like it did,
I am going to run the car for a few days, the exhaust center is happy to change the x pipe to how i want it free of charge on wednesday so again i will wait and see what difference that makes but in fairness the x pipe was on it two days ago and it was alot better than now.

ok i didnt get a response regards the sports button so cant update this at present, basically i was asked if i drove home with the s button on, to be honest i never drive without it on its just habbit. So for those who have had the stage 2 remapp, are you no longer supposed to use the sports buttong then ? as i am a little confused as to why this was mentioned.

ok we have agreed that i get the x pipe modified then take it back and run it on the dyno again as i know something is not right. and i dont think it has anything to do with the x pipe although i do know the x pipe is also a issue its not the issue i am noticing.

Very strange, if it was 340 before and now 410 with that x pipe you should really be able to feel a difference. Sport mode with a stage 2 map is like night and day with it turned on vs off

x pipe against h pipe against straight pipe makes almost no difference atall , just the noise slightly different . this engine doesnt have cats or mufflers but that not relevant either, view this video , V8 crossplane crank V8 like the RS4 which revs higher obviously than a 2 valve american v8 , but for reference to the exhaust , its true https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fCio5K0WfHU

i think i will just wait and see what the x pipe does, i am no exhaust expert but even i can see thats a <beep> design dont you agree? the air cant possably flow nicely like that it must be bouncing off each other

took my son out in it, we both agree that overall it is faster, and seems more power BUT we both agree that its the initial thrust / torque thats missing,
so here is my question, when they removed the exhaust and run it the nm / torque was 481 which i assume is good, when they put the exhaust back this dropped to 448 ( was 343 few weeks ago )
the pps / bhp or what ever that is lol was a few weeks back 401, when exhaust was removed this went up to 431, with exhaust back to 411
so currently without exhaust (assuming the x pipe is to blame ) pps 431 nm 481
as it runs now with exhaust pps 411 nm 448
is it possable that because the power has increased, that the torque isnt in comparison ? i just dont understand why it feels like it does even though everything has risen even if its not at its best

Sounds to me like you are worrying to much about very small amounts of BHP (which is less than PS) whatever you got without the exhaust is irrelevant, you can't drive it like that. The X pipe regardless of ho mad you think the design is won't make that much difference.
You took your son out and you both agree that overall it's faster and has more power???? I'm lot after that. I think you want more than it can give. They were 418 stock. The MRC map gives more response but not necessarily more power. It's 11 years old. 410 seems fine.
