How much do Audi want to do the black optics if you don't mind me asking? Pm me if you prefer.

They reckon 10hrs labour plus 2 bonding kits for the rear quarter windows, I bought the black optics from Audi for £472 (8 pieces) fitting is £500 plus vat, expensive but if anything is not perfect I have the luxury of getting Audi to replace or refit it. Forgot to mention they also need the car for 2 days.

I was quoted about £200-£250 from a number of places to vinyl wrap the chrome trim and grill on my old b8 a4

Had the trim wrapped but wasn't happy because it wasn't the original or proper trim. Sounds pathetic I know but at the end of the day, my money, my choice & my OCD satisfied. 8)

Wow, that is expensive but as you say at least you can throw it back at Audi if it's not perfect. Will make a huge difference once it's fitted though.

I retro fitted my own black optics quality vinyl is cheap but extremely tedious did the grill B n C pillars plus boot strip in carbon wrap it involves removing the bumper to do the grill, side trims are 98% ok imo. As said expensive for Audi to do but at least you will have 100% job done

Here was mine with black optics, wheels and mirrors.
It's all down to what you like and what you want.

Well that's the car back from Audi. They have done a great job & I think the car looks fantastic. Just got my coilovers to go on & perhaps some spacers, & hopefully that will be it! :D

"And hopefully that will be it"... There will never be a "that will be it". The car looks great, good move. if you put coilovers on, you'll need to upgrade the ARB's too. Definitely spacers. Misano looks great.

My car is light silver with dark anthracite wheels wanted a more stealth look so was thinking of spraying the mirrors same colour as wheels or should I keep as are what are your thoughts?
