30k miles, full Porsche history, new ceramics.

I sold my M3 too, so I'm looking for new toys at the moment.

Wow, pretty much a dream garage there, amazing!!! I really would not know where to start if I was looking for a new toy to replace those two. What's the list of requirements? And can we see more of the (remaining ?) one hiding under the E30?

as has been said that is the NA engines though, the turbo does not suffer the IMS bearing failure - or the bore issues...

He's not a <beep>, it's a keeper. The story is; what is the story?
Who, where, what and why - that should give it a start, after that, it's a Jaaaaaag, the rest will write itself and many cups of tea shall be brewed before even a word is read.
No matter where you go, there you are.

the 996 model for residuals is C4S, low milage pukka condition / background.
the turbo and other variants of 996 are very very long term investments.

the turbo is quick though. great value for bundles of bhp.

I wanted an aerokit x50 to start with but couldn't find a decent one in spec I liked (some awful all tan interiors etc)
Eventually crept into GT2 territory so bought a black one.. Best looking 996, if not 911 imo.
Manual so can't comment on tip although I've heard they are pretty poor in comparison to dsg/ pdk. Clunky like the BMW SMg.
I had no major issues with mine in 3 years. In fact I only replaced the cluster and had it serviced
It was live mapped with a miltek.
Drove daily so a 996 would be much more capable.
Couldn't afford another and shouldn't have sold it - hindsight eh!
Turbos were about 35-40k then for spec I wanted '03 x50.
They are creeping up.
GT has doubled! Argh!!!!

Afaik the GT cars def didn't have RMS / IMS issues as they are a stronger engine all round based on the racing platform.
This is probably also the case the turbo variants.
