From what I've read so far, it seems spacers can't actually alter offset as that's relative to the centre line through the wheel. What they can do is push the wheel further out giving you an effective offset decrease. So yes, a 4mm spacer gives an effective ET25 based on the same rim width.MikeFish wrote:ET25

It's so simple a six year old could work it out lol
Take wheel width in mm
Halve it = zero offset
Positive offset moves mounting face out wards making wheel rim move inwards towards the shock
Negative offset moves mounting face inwards making wheel rim come out wards towards the wheel arch lip
Everything else is simple math to work out where the inner and outer edges of the wheel rim was originally compared to whatever new wheel specs you are considering
What's complicated about that ???
Take wheel width in mm
