Welcome and FON

Haven't used them but, Ecotune in Glasgow get some good reviews.

If you're looking to get some detailing done, check out Polished Bliss, they're based at Kintore so, not far from you. Again, haven't used their detailing service but, I buy all my detailing products from them and they'll give you advice on which products are best for your car. :kissmyrings:

Another B7 saloon in Aberdeenshire, I'm not far away from you, in Westhill. Nice picture from the Lecht road too, although I think I'll wait until warmer days to tackle that road again.

I must say I did have a look at this one over at Kintore a few months back. They had another prior to this one with a Capristo system on it, what a noise!

Well . . . . the options are, 55 mile round trip to work and park it in the SMALLEST, most cramped, over crowded joke of an office car park I have ever seen (you need to be ken block just to get into it), or less than 10 mile round trip and employ some defensive parking techniques at the train station.

Neither is ideal, believe me, I am well aware. If I could afford to buy and run another car for her I most certainly would, but the RS has skint me for now, and it "needs" lots of things fiddled with . .

Probably not the right place for this . . but seeing as there's a few locals jumping in, I'm in the market for an exhaust, needs to be semi civilised, been keeping an eye on the classifieds but nothing come up so far, if anyone should hear of one for sale please point me in the direction of it! Thanks!

I didn't know about it, but yes i likely will!!

Could anyone point me in the direction of a guide for doing the haldex oil and filter change?
The bits have arrived and I'm not sure i know what to do with them . . . Do i need a special tool?

Going to get the gearbox, diff, and hopefully haldex all freshened up this weekend :D

it doesnt have haldex is all mechanical old style ,How did you manage to buy Haldex filters for a B7 RS4 ? surely there would have been a list of applications on these ?. the gearbox and front diff are in one unit so only one oil change needed for transmaission, the level plug is beside the LH driveshaft , and there is a drain plug too so easy to do , rear diff is the same , drain and level plug on the casing
