Yes that is it - did wonder if be cheaper to make up the parts as the instructions (on CD) are not really needed - although nice to align your jets correctly. The only important bit to remember is to put the plastic spacer in at the "bottom" ie away from where the nozzles will be. I didn't have a CD drive handy so figured it out but teh instructons aren't clear - if you look at the jets there is one side that "hooks" in while the other side clips in - the spacers go in on the hook side.

The spacers are plastic now not alluminium & you will just use the 8E0 955 431 as the other set isn't for our cars.

Ok, I will give the instructions a once over first then fit. unlike the usual fit then wonder why its not working then read the instructions....

I was surprised that it was actually £29 for one jet on ebay let alone two!

Yanos, let me know how you get on with them. I might go for these as well. Be interested to know your thoughts.

MB2, this looks like it could be a good find. I like a bit of attention to detail like this. :beerchug:

I think you will find the instructions more confusing than just figuring it out...basically when the bonnet is open the inserts then go on the bottom pf the hole for the washers, hook the washers onto the bonnet/insert & then clip the top of the jets into place. The wires & pipe are really easy to connect - is literally 5 minutes from bonnet up to bonnet down.

Glad the kit was beter value - just assumed would get over-charged for buying it all in a box !

Popped into Tonbridge Audi today. Had to order the gaskets and this kit. The gaskets will be in tomorrow and they said this kit is on back order. Will go and pick up the gaskets and they have said will post the kit out to me once it comes in. As a first trip to an Audi dealer I am so far pretty impressed. Just over £70 for the lot so can't grumble at that.

I'll take your advice and get it ordered. At least if you have had it done, then it might still be fresh in the goldfish memory of the parts department. :beerchug:

I see what you mean about the instructions MB2!

Are you ordering from Edinburgh Audi Alex? It took 3 days to come from germania. Reasonably quick

Yeah, i'll order from Edinburgh. Can you remember the parts guy you dealt with? I dealt with a guy called Darren when i got my clutch switch recently and he was pretty cool. 3 days is good.

MB2 should get the credit for this :bigwave:

A guy called peter ordered it for me. Then I think it was Darren that I picked it up from. Both sound enough guys.

My kit arrived today and here is what you get. All fitted and took about 5 mins. The biggest pita was adjusting the jets to aim where you want them. Did read the cd but ignored it adjustment wise. All worked out ok in the end :kissmyrings:

Definately a good find by the op. :beerchug:
