I thouhgt black cars were the fastest, so where does that leave Klausters now ........?

Interesting thread but just getting back to the Orange here’s my friends B5 with a RS4 body conversion painted metallic Inca Orange which was an Audi colour to give you some idea of what a metallic Orange would look like.

Since it's only a temporary colour change, does that mean you don't have to inform DVLA of a change of colour of the car?

well I rang up the DVLA and they asked how long do I intend to keep it in the temporary colour, when i said maybe 12 months they said they advised I did update their records, so I did.

To be fair, if you get pulled over, it's probably a lot easier to talk your way out of any trouble if your car is the colour it says it should be. It's pretty easy to do so I'd say you made the right choice

petroldave, are you thinking of getting yours done? if so what colour
