I think it is in the design actually for some reason, if you look closely at the image in this post it almost looks like they are there too:

I really do want to take a gamble on those lights but the indicators were just sooooo bad on the C5 ones that it is a case of once bitten, twice shy.

Rick - I have the 'crystal' version of these (smoke for me were a little too dark on my silver) and I can say the look ace - very OEM stil but so much sharper than the standard bulb cluster IMHO.Rick_RS4 wrote:Mr Footlong wrote:https://www.dectane.de/TAILLIGHTS/Taill ... o6v5jhv2b1Batfinnk wrote:Totally agree with the smoked. Are these the same version that peoples have been fitting a few years now, or have Dectane updated again ?
There may be a few examples at tomorrows meet if you’re able to attend !

Yes, it's part of the design; a single led that is house on the curvature of the lens that wraps around the side - it's almost like a directional side led, but partially visible from the reverse...Mr Footlong wrote:I think it is in the design actually for some reason, if you look closely at the image in this post it almost looks like they are there too:

Ah, at least some shiny plastic and bright lights arriving in a box from Germany can 'ease' the proceedings. Nice.Mr Footlong wrote:Right, well after some shockingly poor sexy time tonight with madam, I decided that tonight couldn't be a total loss. Lights ordered.....

Stretch, young lady has got you hook, line and sinker. She did say she wanted an auto, 4wd and lots of power! Even I thought the b6/b7 platform was cramped.
Hows about ds2500 (think that's right) pads?
