Looks like there’s a faulty LED in that photo.

...I know, I know don’t get me started etc...

I think it is in the design actually for some reason, if you look closely at the image in this post it almost looks like they are there too:

http://forum.rs246.com/viewtopic.php?f= ... 45#p650816

I really do want to take a gamble on those lights but the indicators were just sooooo bad on the C5 ones that it is a case of once bitten, twice shy.
Current:

23' C8 RS6 Vorsprung - 23' RS E-Tron GT Carbon Vorsprung

Gone:

"Brutus"- C5 RS6 Avant - MRC stage 2 - Milltek non-res + 100 cell cats - Wagner ICs - PSS9 - H&R ARBs - OZ Superturismo LM - C6 Custom brakes - HD RNS-E - Various other bits - 555PS/832Nm
"Taz"- C7 RS6 - MRC stage 2 745PS/1095Nm
12' Cayenne Turbo, B7 RS4, S3, Cupra R, XJR, EVO VII, STI8,5,2&WRX, 106 GTI&XSI, other crap.

Rick - I have the 'crystal' version of these (smoke for me were a little too dark on my silver) and I can say the look ace - very OEM stil but so much sharper than the standard bulb cluster IMHO.

Yes direct rom dectane - they fit well too...

Bugger - had YouTube spring clean and must've got rid of theses - will re upload and post new links...
Gone but never forgotten:
2007 RS4 B7 Saloon, Metallic Silver with SS+.

MRC stage 2, de-flap and full carbon clean - 438PS and 489NM. HEL brake lines. H&R Spacers. Gtechniq C1 and EXO V2 coatings. 2010+ RNS-E. On the MRC dyno: http://youtu.be/y_k0VJ2--y8

Yeah, I can “just” make out what you mean.
Are these the same version that peoples have been fitting a few years now, or have Dectane updated again ?

There may be a few examples at tomorrows meet if you’re able to attend !

Yes, it's part of the design; a single led that is house on the curvature of the lens that wraps around the side - it's almost like a directional side led, but partially visible from the reverse...

I'm at the box hill meet tomorrow - mine have them...

Ah, at least some shiny plastic and bright lights arriving in a box from Germany can 'ease' the proceedings. Nice.

Can't attend a meet tomorrow as I am helping madam pack all the crap in her flat to move it out. That and strangers scare me ;)

Phail, he's not married.

Stretch, young lady has got you hook, line and sinker. She did say she wanted an auto, 4wd and lots of power! Even I thought the b6/b7 platform was cramped.
Hows about ds2500 (think that's right) pads?
previous- Pug 205 gti, 306 gti, 309 gti Goodwood.
Audi S3, S4 V8 avant.
Porsche Macan Turbo.
Gone but NEVER forgotten - C5 RS6 Misano red avant.

Now - Empty garage

If you don't know where you're going, any road will take you there!
