looks very nice.
did you find out why it was advertised by another dealer?

have you contacted the previous owner as if he says it was good this would mean a lot.

No of owners is a bit of an issue with me but everytime a car changes hands (in theory) it gets some love.

Spoke to the previous owner and dealer. Both said the car was fantastic. Owner told me of all the issues (very minor) that were apparent when he sold it and apart from the tyres all have been resolved. Owner sold it on due to silly work mileage and got £25k p/x. Dealers did a trade as Merv Hannam specialise in German cars and had something the other guys wanted. 4 owners total.
The standard wheel bolts were in the boot and the wheels definitelty fill the arches more than others I've seen. I'll look into it when I pick it up.

Daytona wasn't on my list of wanted colours but in the flesh it's absolutely stunning and really complements the curves of the RS.

I honestly can't pinpoint any negatives - just have to get over my Avant craving and I'm sure driving this on a daily basis will help.

Just to throw my 2p's worth in Shane, I've been following your search for a little while now & it sounds like you feel how I felt when I'd viewed the car I ended up buying - you just know that it feels like the right one.

Have to say it looks fantastic from the pics, and everything you've posted about the history etc sounds like it's been well looked after. Ok, it doesn't quite tick all your boxes 100% but I'd be surprised if there are many (or any) RS4 buyers who haven't had to compromise at least a little bit (when I bought mine it was higher mileage than I wanted & had no IPOD prep, but everything else about it ticked all my boxes).

If I was in your shoes now, I'd get the Daytona saloon bought before someone else snaps it up...but that's just my opinion!
2009 Sepang Blue TTRS Coupe
2006 Sprint Blue RS4 Saloon (B7) - Sold but not forgotten
2006 BMW 130i M Sport - Sold
1999 Imola Yellow S3 (Revo Stage 1 265 bhp) - Sold

If my wife came home with with a lime green RS4 with purple buckets I'd still love it.

..a fair point as they all are but (and it may not feel like it now) but there will always be another.
If it was B5 with just 400 imported then maybe not but there are loads of B7s around and they are only getting cheaper.

Only you know if it's right and the compromises are acceptable and I am sure you know what you are looking for.

They are defo getting cheaper - But, I think they're also getting worse as well.. Some RS4's out there are absolute shockers...

If you find the right car just pay the man his money :D
