Do you need to be a business to import from them? I need a new part and my indy pointed me their way (and I'd heard the name here), but on checkout they are asking for a business number. Have referred the matter back to the indy.
Searching this site I read that they no longer ship to the UK post-Brexit, but later posts say that they do. Can anyone enlighten me?
Cheers, 12th.

Re: Audi Tradition.
I've used them a few times and they shipped to my home address without any business number needed. Ireland though.
Re: Audi Tradition.
You're in the EU though. That seemed to be what caused issues - though as I say some recent posts did say they were again shipping to England.

Re: Audi Tradition.
Here's your answer:
'It is not possible to place an order as a private customer.
Audi dealers in the UK are also unable to order from our Audi Tradition online Shop.
However, you have the option of contacting an independent car repair Shop in your area.
Independent car repair Shop can create a commercial account and order it for you in our online Shop.
Alternatively, you can check with an Audi dealer in Northern Ireland and ask if they can place an order for you.
The transport to Great Britain must then be organized by yourself.
Please understand that we cannot offer you any other solution at the moment.'

Re: Audi Tradition.
So I can buy parts through my Ltd company and they will deliver to me in the UK no problem, but I can't use my personal bank account to buy? Seems odd.
Re: Audi Tradition.
That's about the size of it - though whether your company needs to be in the motor trade I wouldn't like to say.

Re: Audi Tradition.
You just need the EORI number. Easy enough to obtain if you have a VAT registered business, it does not have to be one in the motor trade.
I used an agent in Germany to order some parts on my behalf. Not the fastest, communications were at times extremely slow but we got there in the end.
To be fair, I don't think Audi Tradition are the fastest at processing orders anyway.
Ordering parts via Audi Dublin is also another option.
At least it's another way of keeping these wonderful cars on the road for a bit longer.
They still don't have any front DRC shocks though ffs!

Re: Audi Tradition.
Hopefully indy will have placed the order by close today, and as they'll now have an account with AT it should make life a bit easier in future!
