RS4 London - Audi Forum

Has anyone/did anyone see the RS4 that was at Audi Forum in London?

A mate of mine said it was/or still is in the showroom, but it hasn't got any VIN plates?? The dealer said it was just for publicity and would be crushed afterwards.

Never heard of this before.

Dunno, I could take a walk up there but it is too cold!!!

Sounds a very odd story though, unless it is an engineless shell.

Audi brought a pre-production TT Quattro Sport to the UK unveiling at a TT Owners Club event without VIN's. They confirmed it was going back to Germany for crushing after the event.

Standard procedure for Audi -- pre production test cars are built without vins - once all use has been had they get crushed - COMPLETE - nothing removed no trophys kept.

When they launched the TT originaly they brought 70 LHD pre-pro models for the dealer network to test at Millbrook - quite a sight 70 TT's in a circle months before they were meant to be in the country -- cracking day out that was!
