Avant boot lip protection (from dogs!)

Has anyone found a clear vinyl Sticker that can go on the boot lip on the rear of the B7 RS4 Avant.

i have my dog in occasionally and want to protect the paint.

i bought the saloon one (8EC 061 197) to see if it could fit, but it doesn't. i also tried a very cheap ebay option, which is fitted wet, and it was a bad fit and would stick properly even following the instructions to the letter.

i have a drop down flap on order, but know that those can still rub if a large dog stands on it, so would rather a clear vinyl / PPF type thing.

What have others used?

You need to get a professional installer to fit PPF self-healing film.

Its a fairly big job though if you want to do the whole rear bumper.

I load mountain bikes into the back of mine and know from experience that even the tail flap catching in the wind will damage the paintwork.

I’ve got one genuine audi on my 6. Found part number in parts catalog. It was abt £35 from my local audi dealership. Took 20mins to fit. Had same problem with dog as he keeps jumping out of boot before i can extend flap from boot matt.

Do they not have Audi dealers with a parts department where you live?

Check with your local Audi dealer. They should be able to get one for you.

tried the stealers - on back order in germany, so could take a couple of months they said!
