The replacing of the DRC with the CRS Koni's is a very popular solution because its the closest you can get to the original set up ( with out bursting the bank and buying original equipment )
The KONI shocks are set up for the RS4 and we have supplied them all over the world with 100 % success . Never a bad word , In most cases comments of improvements .
Coil over's arent for everyone and again the use of a S 4 or A4 coil over kit doesn't offer the correct damping characteristics , Coil overs can only do a low stance or LOWER , This isnt ideal as the ride is too stiff for the more discerning clients and certainly isnt practical dragging the belly over every speed hump .
The CRS solution is a result of doing 100 's of these cars with fine tuning the Damping forces to get a great result initially . These shocks are not on the KONI catalogue ! We do supply to Audi specialist repairers so feel free to contact us if you need assistance .
Coffey555 the FSD wont work well on these cars and we dont offer such a kit , The FSD shock KONI do make is for the A 4 and they simply wont be stiff enough even though they will fit . I am a KW Performance partner as well and my humble opinion is that height adjust springs wont work too well either , But you are correct to fit with out re gassing the DRC is a tricky thing to do and you risk breaking the pipe and valve ( i have seen this happen ) Probably better to get an Audi garage to reboot the pressure and oil level .
