First allocation here too at my dealer, October at the very earliest. July? No chance. If I go ahead, I'm prepared for this car to be a Christmas present.
RS4 B5. Where it all started.
RS6+ Never to be replaced.
Replaced by: 997 Turbo. Didn't like.
Replaced by RS6. I like(d).
Land Rover Defender. Not as nippy.
Back with C6 RS6
And again C7 RS6

First in line for the avant at my dealer and they are showing June/July allocation on ordering system, also info to suggest production will begin on avant week 22 which is end of May. I'm with Simon, am expecting July/August at the very latest otherwise £ will be going on a 997!!

Gang, you will not see Avants in 2006, if your dealers are saying you are, get them to put their money were there mouths are. Get them to commit to loaning you a car if it does not arrive by October. You are also being fed a load of balls about the production of the salon cars, the production run at the factory is still in development has as yet not even produced a production, non TEST car. Once production starts the LHD cars will flow off the line. The RHD cars have still yet to be ported, and problems will have to be overcome prior to mass (over 15) production.

Every RS batch is tested, each car is tested fully, and if one car in the batch fails any part of the testing the entire batch will not ship.

Get your dealers to commit, they wont, because they cant, you wont get a non demo car on the 1st of March.

Matt

Matt, where are you getting your information from?
I have a contact very high within Audi so information i have received i would guess is fairly accurate. Example: Cab RS4 will be at Geneva in a few weeks so lets wait and see if it true!
If you say no RHD cars have come off production yet what aboUt the black one seen on the M1?

Adrian,

The M1 RS4 is a Pre-Production car (PPCP), shipped along with 3 others for UK road use / testing. I am not trying to cause trouble, only want Audi to admit customers wont get there cars in early March. The demo cars may just about get here late Feb to mid March. Lets wait as see, if I am proved wrong, you can all take the piss ouit of me. I cant comment on Mr Owens car.
