Anyone on here know anything about B7 RS4 saloon LV07 FPU ? ?

Hi everyone,

Have owned 2 of these fantastic cars in the past and i'm giving thought to buying another one, which at 68 will probably be my last car

Just wondering if anyone on here has previously owned this car or has any knowledge about it

Can i ask the engineers among you who know the B7 RS4 inside out, can i expect many problems with a 93,000 mile car with fsh in the future i only now do max 3,000 miles a year but my only hobby has ALWAYS been cars and nothing comes close to this model

Any feedback or advice would really be appreciated as i don't want to make a decision that is going to cost me £housands in the future as i am NOT someone who has ANY knowledge of DIY engine maintenance whatsoever, i just LOVE driving them

Yes, I went to look at this back in February.

I travelled up from London to Dalston, Carlisle to see it. Basically wasted a whole day.

Looked great in the pictures. Had a number of faults and a respray/overspray. Lots of dirt in the paint. Knocking suspension, Sat Nav not working, exhaust flaps stuck etc. Looks like an ex-farmers car and lots of clogged up clay/dirt underneath.

Seller said it was one of his "personal" cars from his dealership. Not so sure.
I was very disappointed and had my train ticket refunded as misrepresented in my opinion.
Seemed a tired car in general...Not really much in the way of any service history.
