Are B7 RS4's going to start increasing in price soon?

Hi all.

I've had my B7 RS4 for over 4 years now and still love it.

I paid £18K for my black 2007 convertible back in 2015.

I always keep an eye on the market and it looks to me that the price is leveling off now after dropping steadily year-on-year. Do you think that due to its age and rarity (only built for 2 years) that the price might start to rise soon?

It would be great if they did. I’ve definitely noticed them dropping the past 6 months or so.

They will if people stop putting them up for silly prices, some cars are being advertised really cheap. I can’t see what has happened in the market to devalue them whereas all of the jap scrap has skyrocketed.

It's just that two people I know have paid £17000 and £16500 recently. These were both stunning examples around the 50K mark but it is filling me with confidence that we may possibly be sitting on a future classic here.

And I know what you mean about silly prices James but those are relatively high mileage and not very well looked after. It seems that the mint ones are still holding their own.

I sold my Supra not too long ago for way more than I paid for it back in 2004, even with 100k miles extra; the money paid for my RS4

To the OP: low mileage, quality cars will always fetch a premium

Maybe... a few cars have been sold Lately and new owners in the mid price range are popping up on the FB forums...
Although there have been a couple of cars come up at big money in last week or so - That end of the market is tough currently.

Which is a shame as that’s the area I consider mine to be in and I won’t let it go cheap.

Fingers crossed for at least a little up turn!
