I say bring back the snail ad. The spider is quite awful. There again, it goes with the car. ;)

maybe its a sheep in spiders clothing.. :lol: .. tracks its prey confuses them into a first from the lights race then BAM!!!.gobbles them up.. sorry i,ve been on the brandy again : :drink: .. not a bad ad just hope i dnt find 1 in me bath.. the spider that is... every1 have a happy new rear..hick! i mean year :redrs4:

In advertising terms, I would guess the proposition on the brief was "understated performance" which would lead the creative work to come to "predatory" as an initial idea then, to fit within the brand's loose 'animal' campaign thought, (remember 'bull' 'fish' and 'cheetah') Black Widow Spider was the end result.

Some inside knowledge: The target market is male (obviously) OVER 35. The cost? £4 million. So you can forget limited numbers, they have to sell a bucket load.

Work done by BBH, probably the best agency in town at the moment.

I think that ad was a complete waste of money! Doesnt do anything for me, and I'm not even scared of spiders!
