Gearbox and rear diff oil change Schedule?
Hi guys, can anybody tell me the recommended time or mileage to get this done please? Cars don’t just under 35k miles and I’m not sure if this has ever been done! But for peace of mind I really think I should get it done

Re: Gearbox and rear diff oil change Schedule?
Audi have no pre-determined schedule for these components and use the 'sealed for life' terminology. However, all oils degrade over time and despite the very low mileage of your particular example, the B7 RS4 is getting on a bit now. So there's certainly no harm in being pro-active and replacing the gearbox fluids. Some have experienced better mechanical movement, having carried out an oil change for these components.
For example, have a read through this thread below for some useful info.

Thanks mate much appreciated, this is next on my list of never ending things to do ffs! It’s all piling up now and it’s getting frustrating.Surrey Sam wrote: ↑Sun Oct 22, 2017 10:34 pmAudi have no pre-determined schedule for these components and use the 'sealed for life' terminology. They tried to sell me the lifelong item <beep> when I just had a service and asked them to change my fuel filter! I demanded it be done anyway.
A friend also told me to get all the fluids flushed and changed again incl power steering, brake fluid and coolant?
When the car was MRC stage 2’d I can see on the invoice that Doug charged for 3 x 1.5L coolant so maybe the coolant has been changed already?
Brake fluid I was hoping to flushed and changed like all at once when I get the callipers refurbed and install HEL braided lines?
And the steering one baffled me never heard of that one before!
Have I missed anything else?
