Hi,

A quick question on behalf of a mate who's looking at buying a 2007 (57) RS4.

Should it have fully clear headlights?. I was under the impression the amber to clear indicator change over was 2006?.

You are right, they were fitted with either.

2007 should be clear corners iirc, unless they were swapped

That's what I thought....possibly had a repair and early headlights were used

I have a 2006 with clear from factory. I don't think it is as clear cut as that.

This is what they look like from the factory in June 2007. I know that for a fact because that's when I got it new.

Hi it's me and my purchase that's in question. It's a 57reg (sept 07) with bi Xeon lights 17k miles from new with no recorded damage but does have the amber indicators in the headlights.....

Take them out and replace them, easy enough job. Like I said, there is a cross over where they seemed to get either or.

Ah ok. Do they still have the clear lense or has someone as the yanks say, done the joey mod? When I pulled mine apart for the first time I found this had been done on mine.

I'm alright with them if they can be either I just didn't want to be paying top money for a car that either had had bits swapped or damaged or not how it should be.

any doubt get a proper inspection done...paint thickness the lot
