About 2.5 Hours work so about £130-£150 in Indy garage labour... I always do inner and outer at the same time...

Wicked. I wonder at what point I will regret it, usually it's about 25 minutes in or when I first break something.

Thank you all for the advice. I think I will start with the wheel bolts first.

My car is with Audi Coulsdon who have confirmed there is a bulletin regards this issue and the suggested remedy is this "special grease" applied to "certain parts" that eliminates the issue. All sounds a bit dodge to me.

Passenger side Outer CV joint - Part number 8E0498099CX £145.46 with Surcharge of £73.57 Genuine part on Trade from TPS - Both Plus VAT.
