Can anyone let me know why Audi are putting so much advertising behind the cars 0-125mph time of 16.6s? How does this compare to similar cars? Most magazines / manufacturers usually quote 0-60mph and 0-100mph times? Or is it really not much quicker than the S4?

I would suspect this is because 0-125 gives a pure outright peroformance figure. Most family cars nowadays will do 0-60 in < 10secs. However once you get to 100, the car has to be silky streamlined and/or powerful to notch up the mph. Quoting this figure also infers the car is quick enough to 60 and 100 respectively.
