I'd just buy the switches from Audi, about £17 each, as there was a design change a few years ago so this means you'll get the latest part.
I get my MAFs from GSF I think, normally wait until they have a 20 or 30% off deal.

Thanks Mike. Just ordered the switches from my local Indy, will pick them up on Saturday.

Couldn't find the MAF on GSF but have found it on Carpartsforless.com, £115, and a £15 air filter which is effectively free because I used promo code CP15LESS (£15 off if spend over £100). Hope this helps anyone on here that's looking to replace this. :thumb:

It might not have been GSF but it was something like that. In fact I don't think it was labelled as a MAF so I took a bit of a gamble but it turned out to be right.

So we changed both switches with no difference and then tried running the car with the MAF disconnected - it ran much better and much smoother with it disconnected- so I think we may have gone some way to proving our culprit

Hi Dizzie :bigwave: , did you have any issues with the clutch switches? I am changing mine this weekend, (well, Ilya is doing it for me, in case he's reading this  ) and wanted to know if there's any tips/tricks to make it easy. Cheers

Hello
I believe they just twist out and were apparently quite easy to change just best not to be too heavy handed

Cool, thanks. Sure there's a thread on here about them too so will take a look. I'm also changing the MAF so will let you know if I too noticed a difference. Cheers :beerchug:

Read the guide on how to change the switch. I broke one of them as I didn't realise you had to depress the switch when fitting. And the other one must not be depressed until fitted.

Fitted both clutch switches recently, pretty straight forwards
Got them from Audi and was told not to do anything other than remove old ones then fit new ones without touching the plungers.
I did do a practice run using the old ones to get a feel for it

I knew you would see this  I also have a new MAF sensor and air filter to put in, but apparently that's really easy. :thumb:

MAF takes about 1 minute to fit.
