Disable headlight washers for Summer time use, then re-enable for Winter/MOT.

Enable Parking Lights.
Disable headlight washers sounds a good idea - can you give me a hint where that is or do you just "code out" the option ?

What does "enable parking lights" do for me please ?

Parking light function illuminates the front and rear sidelight for whichever side you wish, via the indicator lever, once the ignition is switched off. See page 89 in the user manual.

Sam, isn't the parking light a standard feature enabled from the factory?
And the 3 indicator flashes and auto locking (or did you change the speed at which the car auto locks)?

I didn't realise you could disable the dribble wipe though. Wish I'd known about that years ago!

No idea Mike, I don't recall it originally working on my first car until after I got my cable and software. To be honest, I've used VCDS so much with fiddling around on both cars, that I've forgotten what was there to begin with.

Most of the above plus turned off the "Press Clutch to start" message in the instrument cluster.

Anyone know if its possible to have the instrument cluster Dials and pointers lit all the without having the lights on? I have spent a while looking for the module to change trying to do this but cant find it.

I'm assuming it's the late wipe after you wash the windscreen; a few seconds after using the washer jets it has another wipe to get rid of any dribble left behind, but for me it usually just smears it.

Thanks Mike for the clarification, I thought it may be that. Would you or anyone else know if intermittent wipe below 5MPH can be enabled when raining as on BMW's ? As I remember this on my E36 M3 and thought it was a nifty little feature.
