What a lovely pair you have Chris
+1. Bit weird that the guy couldn't live with the fuel consumption. Didn't he know that RS4s like a drink?

Totally mate. For the money they are brilliant little cars for day to day stuff. The engines are bullet proof too. Its a 1.5 yeah and for what it is, it's great. I drive it everywhere like I stole it and the little thing just keeps on going.

He's a bit of a tart to be honest and has a more sensible head than me. He's more into houses and stuff  lol.

I kind of manipulated him a bit once I realised I'd made a mistake selling it. I sold it to him for £15k, it's not even done 70k miles and I've spend 5 grand on it since Jan.
He embarrassed himself a bit against an S4, he was in the wrong gear, wasn't familiar with the car and all that. He was scared to drive it hard and just bought it because it was cheap really. He does love the car but admitted it was wasted on him. Fair do's I guess :)

I had a first generation Swift Sport which effectively replaced the Ignis Sport and I can honestly say it was one of the best cars I have owned. It needed to be redlined in every gear to get anywhere remotely quickly but it was such a laugh to drive you overlooked that. The wee thing would lift off oversteer everywhere....... :-)

0-60 is about 9 seconds on them, you've got to redline them as you say but aye, it's all part of the fun. My first ever car was a Citroën axgt and the Ignis just reminds my of the ax only handles way better.

At least he was honest about it, and it's all to your benefit in the end :biggrin3:

Great combo!....... BUT.....
I REALLY wouldn't agree with referring to the R8 as a "Family Car!!!!!!!!!! :jump: :bash:
I've finally got my head together but now my body is falling apart!
