i get on fine with it,
However on my last car i had a mishap where i thought i pulled the handbrake up enough as it hit the armrest and it held.
A hour later some kids knocked at my door to tell me my red car was crashed into my steel bumper discovery... lucky only dented the wing but could of been worse and 100% down to the arm rest.

Re: Front Center Arm Rest Query
I wouldn't be without mine. I never use the handbrake bar hill starts/holds etc. so when I do, just flick it up out of the way. Simples!

Might be worth reading this http://www.iam-bristol.org.uk/index.php ... 5&Itemid=1 especially this advice:DuncanF wrote:I never use the handbrake bar hill starts/holds etc.
Sorry, but one of my "pet hates" is the car in front of me in a queue sitting on the foot brake for ages and glaring me with their brake lights. It's not clever, it's bad driving.IAM wrote:you will usually apply the handbrake at traffic lights, on hills, waiting to turn right and always at a pedestrian crossing but not always necessarily when manoeuvring on level ground or when stopping briefly at a ’Stop' sign
