Apologies for the thread hijack op. Any progress as I to would be interested in this at some point.

Thanks Mongo (haha) spoke to Marc and he is going to have a look at it. By chance my car is parked in Aberdeen while I'm offshore so will visit him when I land. He confirmed he has the tools required for recharging the drc for info.

No worries (Got the nickname from Blazing saddles), was also of thanks to Ellis for searching and finding the thread, I just remembered that I had seen someone post about DRC recharging near aberdeen.

With regards to de-coke, I am going to get mine done at an independent garage in bathgate, will post up before and after pictures, but the guy is meticulous and carries out all the work on my RS4.

Carbon cleaning too advanced for you Northern folk Rico, you need to stick to arable farming ;-)

Want to buy a complete set of Audi Exclusive trims for a saloon in silver? Would look really good against Misano......

You at home or away?

Star Performance do have a four wheel drive rolling road and carry out carbon cleaning as they cleaned and tested my car last year.

Trims? Like interior stuff?
I know a mechanical genius like me should be able to to a carbon clean myself but it sounds tricky, I'm hoping one of the other owners in Abz does it first. May have a trip to star as I'm still convinced I don't have all the horses I should.
Home for another fortnight, finally getting the front bumper re sprayed at paint technic next trip home.

Trims as in leather covers for the front and rear seats.

They are the ones from AdrianD's car before he had his retrim, the two tone rear bench is lovely. I was planning on using them myself but never got around to it.

Can stick pictures up later on a new thread.

Could meet you halfway as I am back on Friday this trip home to see how your car fairs against my old breadvan again?

I managed to pull out a few car lengths on my mates M135i in 4th pulling from 3000rpm on a closed road...... just after it was cleaned.

Paintwork is next on my to do list along with a new windscreen.
