It's the exchange rate. The EUR has gone down quite a lot because the ECB has started its own QE. They're still the same price over here (200 EUR a piece) it's just fewer pounds.

I like the way this thread went. I'm on a Specialized Tarmac SL4 with Campy Record, Shamal Ultra wheels, and Enve bars and stem. Just going out for a ride now, sneak in the col de Vence before luncheon.....and then I might have a shave. And trim my beard.

Thanks. We saw Paris Nice coming past in Tourrettes Sur Loup, before the weather got bad on the Saturday, just as the big break was forming.

Let me know when you are down here and we'll ride and I will show you around. You can park at my place so I can see those red calipers of yours! :rocker: I would love to see your car and all those mods. Pretty sure I am down on power and have been considering a trip to MRC.

I actually live in Tourrettes Sur Loup, close to Vence. The riding is excellent here. When are planning on the trip?

Ha ha!!! just noticed your comments on the end of your post regarding shaving and trimming, ha ha!!!

Well, I'm keen for a wee trip down that way in a couple of weeks, as I've got a Sportive out in Mallorca at the end of April and I've spent a lot of time climbing and skiing instead of getting the miles in, so I need to get my act together!!!

I'll let you know when I'm coming and we can get out for sure!! and yes I'll be bringing the beast!!!

Yeah I drove all the way from Chamonix to MRC, totally worth it, there is a place in Paris that use the MRC maps, considered taking it there, KSF Motorsport, but just decided for peace of mind I went with MRC, you won't regret it!!
