Good luck to Audi then. I can't see them selling many at those prices.

Ouch! No need to limit production then, they'll still be a rear sight on the road anyway.

Have to wait to see how it drives I suppose!

Mind you I wonder if I can persuade the misses that a Porker can be practical too!

Dont bother to try MBW, just buy one anyway ;)

Depending on which one you buy they can be a daily driver no trouble. I used my 993 quite a bit for a while. I did get a bit anal as to where I was prepared to park it though.
The porker is far more practical than the likes of a TVR, Ferrari, Lotus, etc.

Go on, you know it makes sense :nodder:

oye oye !!

So you have an old mattress on the floor in the garage eh

I'd suggest going and having a drive of a 993, and a 996. The dated interior of the 993 is not ot everybody's taste, but to a lot of people it is part of the appeal. Others don't like the nondescript 996 interior, saying it could be pretty much any modern car. The two also drive completely differently, so it is worth having a drive just to see if your dreaming after a car you don't really like at the end of the day.
Anyway, getting a bit off topic here.

Everyone is complaining about the price of the new B7. The B5 was as stated above, 50k before. Many people don't like the new style or mechanics in the car, so don't buy the car. Some say the car is presented for Americans, so don't buy the car. Simple as that!

The standard B5 RS4 was just under £47k and with all the options just under £52k but starting to read the options list for the B7 i think it's going to be in the high 50's fully loaded, but like everthing else we'll just have to wait for the offical prices to come out which should'nt be too long now

They really aren't that far away in price. The B7 will probably be another 10k IF it is fully-loaded. We will see what the actual price is in a few months.

Chilling, buying my first Audi, you know how we do! Can't wait. I need some people in the U.S. to bring their cars out. I want to start making some track days down in the Southeast of the U.S. Anyone interested?
