Oil Cooler

Post by DeanR9 » Wed Jul 30, 2014 10:46 am

Came across this company Radtec, whilst looking for an alloy radiator for my kit car. They do an oil cooler for the RS4, direct replacement, looks to be an alright deal. I had to have mine renewed not too long ago and paid a fair bit more for the forge upgrade. Wished I 'd known about this one then, so thought I'd share the link

Thanks for the heads up.That's a really good find, perfect oem style replacement by the looks of it and a good bit cheaper as well. Might give them a ring and see if they can source the oil cooler lines, worth a shot :)

That Radtec's a fairly good price. My OEM replacement cooler was £590 delivered from Aberdeen Audi; cheaper than Stoke at the time.

The black one is an extra £35, but that is still a great deal! Just had a Forge one fitted 2 weeks ago!

Here's the radtec radiator I ordered, arrived yesterday. Very pleased, good quality, good price and good service. This was made to order for me with the correct size fittings on I need. So I'm guessing if you requested you could probably stipulate which fittings you'd like on the RS oil cooler, which would help aid in acquiring your own oil lines from someone like pirtek

Looks like a well made bit of kit, bet your chuffed with it. Thanks again for the advice. Il email pirtek later today and see if they can fabricate the lines
